We currently offer domestic shipping rates for orders within Australia only. 

For smaller items and artwork:

Standard (2-8 Business days): $65

Express (1-4 Business days): $85

For larger items such as artwork or furniture, if no shipping rate appears at checkout, please select 'Custom Shipping Quote' to complete your purchase then contact us at info@fathersjoy.au for a custom courier quote.

For international orders (outside Australia), please select 'Custom Shipping Quote' at checkout to complete your purchase then reach out to us at info@fathersjoy.au to obtain a shipping quote.

Please note, any entry taxes, duties and customs fees are to be paid by the receiver.

Whilst we can ship artwork and select objects internationally, we are unable to ship furniture outside of Australia at this time.

As is the nature of vintage, second-hand goods, items often display imperfections and signs of wear consistent with age. I try to list all items as accurately as possible with colour correct images highlighting any minor flaws. The condition of each item varies and is sold as is. 

As a small business, we do not offer refunds for change of mind at this time and all sales are final. We advise you to inspect the items online carefully before purchasing.

If you receive an item that appears to be damaged or faulty, please contact info@fathersjoy.au within 48 hours of receiving your purchase with photographs of the item and original packaging, noting the areas of damage. Any requests for a return of smaller items including artwork and lighting will be treated on an individual basis and must be requested.

Any accepted returns must be sent back within 14 days of the returns agreement. The cost of returning items will be the responsibility of the buyer. Father’s Joy does not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during the returns process so we recommend using a trackable delivery service and wrapping the item well. 

Each piece has been sourced with intention, selected for its unique aesthetic qualities and rich patina. Where possible, certain objects have been left ‘dans son jus’, untouched, to preserve their history and authenticity. Any minor imperfections are considered to be part of the item’s character and are reflective of its age. As previously owned items that are either vintage or antique, signs of wear are to be expected.

All lighting has been rewired to comply with Australian standards. All paintings are priced for the artwork only, with the original frames included where possible. Any artworks which have been reframed will state as such in the item’s description.
